DANIEL ELLIOT THOMAS

Daniel E. Thomas (Danny) was born in Boston on April 6, 1966. He was the loving son of Nathaniel (deceased) and Gayle (Thorpe) Thomas. He passed away peacefully at the Medford Rehabilitation Center after a long illness on March 5, 2022.
Danny attended the Boston and Medford school systems and followed a career path that led him to auto mechanics. He was a devoted fan of all the Boston sports teams and had a passion for fishing.
Mourning his passing are his 3 children – Sean W. Johnson, Eric D. Johnson and Chanel G. Thomas along with 3 grandchildren – Emma R. Johnson, Ethan W. Johnson and Julian D. Johnson. Special mention goes out to his lifelong friend and comforter, Patricia Johnson – Dilkey for her unending love, devotion and support.
Daniel is also survived by his step sister, Sabrina Durham-Burns of Florida, aunts, Marilynn J. Morgan of Milton, Susan R. Thorpe of Mattapan, and uncle Stewart B. Thorpe of Roxbury, along with numerous cousins and friends.
A celebration honoring Danny’s life will be held at the West Medford Community Center 111 Arlington Street Medford, MA on Saturday 3/19/22 at 1pm.
