Cecile A. Champagne, 77, of Lawrence Road, Derry, NH died Tuesday July 30, 2002 at the Parkland Medical Center, Derry following a lengthy illness. She was born in Concord, NH on August 19, 1924, a daughter of the late Benjamin and Eva E. (LeBlanc) Champagne. She was a resident of Derry for seven years, formerly living in Danbury, CT and South Orange, NJ. She graduated from Orange Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, Orange, NJ, in 1947 and Rutgers University School of Nursing, Newark, NJ, in 1957, with her bachelor’s degree in nursing. She retired from New Milford Hospital, New Milford, CT in 1990.
She is survived by two sisters, Phyllis Kerns, Westboro, MA, Ruth Sanders, Massachusetts, four nieces, and three nephews.
