Parsonsfield - Lorraine Margaret LaPanne, 89, of Parsonsfield passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on February 23, 2022. Lorraine was born on August 4, 1932 in Dover, NH. She grew up in Dover and moved to Farmington, NH. when she married her husband, Henry LaPanne. Lorraine and Henry were married for over 50 years and raised eleven children together.
In the fall of 2018, she moved to Parsonsfield to live with her daughter Kathy and family. Lorraine was known to most of the family as "Gram". She loved spending time with her great grandchildren and watching them grow. She enjoyed being outside during the summer in the warmer weather. She also really liked coloring and doing word searches.
Lorraine is predeceased by her husband, Henry LaPanne, her parents, Edward and Margaret Joyal Sr., 4 of her children: Paul LaPanne Sr., Joseph "Jojo" LaPanne, Bruce LaPanne and Thomas LaPanne, her brother, Edward Joyal Jr., her daughter-in-law, Lorraine LaPanne, and her grandson, John "Brat" Bubar.
Lorriane is survived by her children: Nelson LaPanne, Michael LaPanne, Wayne LaPanne, Nicholas LaPanne, Julie Plourde and husband Mike, Peggy Laurent, and Kathy Bubar and husband John, her siblings: Maryann Getchell and husband David, Kathleen Campbell and husband Thomas, Joni McGlone and husband Brian, Robert Joyal and wife Gayle, and James Joyal and wife Raylene. She is also survived by countless grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews as well as many other family members.
There will not be any services at this time. An outdoor celebration of life will be announced later in the spring and details will be posted on Facebook.
