Mrs. Thelma E. (Hart) Garland, 85, formerly of 49 Green St., Berlin, NH passed away on Friday April 28, 2006 at the St. Vincent de Paul Healthcare Center in Berlin. She was born in Magalloway Plantation, ME on Jan. 2, 1921 the daughter of Alfred and Geneva (Ripley) Hart and lived in Maine for many years, before moving to Berlin in 1975.
Members of the family include her daughter Geneva Tupick of Berlin; many grandchildren; many great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband John Garland in 1980, by her sons Norman Damren on March 20, 2006 and Jerry Garland in 2003 and by her sister Madeline Placey.
Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Avenue, Berlin, NH on Monday evening May 1, 2006 from 7 to 9 PM. A memorial service will be held at the Harvest Christian Fellowship Church on Saturday May 6, 2006 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in the Wilson’s Mills Cemetery in Wilson’s Mills, Maine.
