Clayton Boyd McMillan, 77, of Enigma, died Friday, April 28, 2006, at Beverly Health Care. Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 30, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with a private burial to be held at a later date. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 29, 2006, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mr. McMillan was born July 9, 1928 in Berrien County and was the son of Jacob Boyd McMillan and Betty Roberson McMillan, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Rosa Marie McMillan; a brother, Cecil McMillan; a sister, Dorothy Parker; and a grandson. He was a retired farmer and a member of Enigma Baptist Church.
Mr. McMillan is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law: Robbie and Mary McMillan of Alapaha, Jake and Margie McMillan of Sparks, and Ray McMillan; three daughters and sons-in-law, Vivian and Don Tucker of Chula, Sarah and Glenn Jackson of Alapaha, and Kitty and Lamar Stone of Alapaha; three sisters, Ruby Dorminey of Enigma, Jewell Story of Waycross and Vera Brogdon of Gainesville, Florida; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.
