Lena (Carveiro) Fitta. Age 91. Wife of Ernest R. Fitta. Residence 90 Spruce St., Somerset, MA. Died Tuesday at R.I. Hospital. Born in Somerset,MA. Daughter of the late Matthew Carveiro and the late Emila (Souza) Carveiro. She was a life long resident of Somerset. Before retiring, she was a Slip Sewer at Scniederson Manufacturing and then she was a Custodian at Sears Roebuck and Company. She was a member of St. Thomas More Church.
Besides her husband of Somerset, she is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late Manuel S., Joseph S., and Benjamin S. Carveiro and Matthew Souza, Mary C. Souza, and Margaret Camara.
Her private funeral took place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 No. Main St., Friday with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas More Church, Luther Ave., Somerset, MA.
Internment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River, MA.
