Obituary

Robert Dolson, 55, died Wednesday, April 26, at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a short illness. Born in Chicago, he grew up in the Midwest and was a graduate of St. James High School in Michigan. Robby was a resident of Stoughton for the past 20 years. He formerly lived in Randolph. Mr. Dolson worked for P & M Transportation in Braintree providing transportation for special needs children. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, baseball and golf.

The son of George R. Dolson of Randolph and the late Mary B. (Crowley) Dolson, he is survived by his siblings, Jo Pyeatt of Columbus, OH, Judi Giesin of Charleston, SC, Jan Wimmer of Wasilla, AK, Lydia Dolson of Livonia, MI, Greg of Medina, OH and Barbara Francis of Stoughton. Also survived by several aunts, uncles and nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 87 North Main St., Avon on Friday, April 28 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours will be held prior to the mass at the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton from 8:30-9:30 AM. Donations in Robby’s name may be made to the Old Colony Hospice, 1 Credit Union Way, Randolph, 02368. Burial will be private.
