Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Visiting hours Friday 4-7 pm.
Obituary
Mrs. Cribben died Wednesday morning at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston after a brief illness. Born in Boston, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Marjorie (Morgan) McCabe. She had been a resident of Brockton for most of her life, and was a graduate of Brockton High School Class of 1945. She was a member of the 20th Century Catholic Club and a longtime communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Mrs. Cribben was primarily a homemaker. She was also a gifted crafts person who enjoyed making quilts, crocheting, needlepoint. Mrs. Cribben was a talented cook who enjoyed cooking for her family, she was especially devoted to her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, William A. Cribben, a son, William A. Cribben and his wife Pamela of Brookline, a daughter, Kathleen A. Cribben of Brockton her sister, Nancy Wood and her husband Reuben of Halifax, her grandchildren, Brian and Tessa Cribben, Lauren and Adam Kesner and Aaron Pinetti and many nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Dennis M. Cribben and sister of the late Raymond A. McCabe
