Obituary

Edward J. Booth, 92 of Medford died Tuesday after a brief illness in the Massachusetts General Hospital Boston, MA.

Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Sylvia (Booth) and Charles Cuneo. Mr. Booth was a Math Professor at Northeastern University School of Engineering from 1954 until his retirement in 1976. He also taught at the Apprentice School at Boston Naval Shipyard from 1948 thru 1954 and at the Berkley Prep School in Boston from 1942 thru 1948. In 1933 Edward received an undergraduate degree at Boston College. In 1934 he received his Master’s Degree also at Boston College. Later years Edward furthered his education at Harvard University Graduate School of Education.


Beloved husband of the late Maria (Garibotto) Booth. Devoted father of John Lueders-Booth of Cambridge, Carol Dolan of North Reading, Elizabeth Collins of Wakefield, Marcia Booth of Newton, David Booth of San Francisco, CA, and Marilyn Booth-King of Watertown. Also survived by 21 loving grandchildren and 16 loving great grandchildren. Brother of the late Charles A. Cuneo.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Saturday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Agnes Church, 30 Medford St., Arlington, at 10 AM.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Visiting hours Friday 2 - 4 and 7 – 9.

Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
