Obituary

BOYAJIAN, Jack, age 89 of South Natick, formerly of Needham, passed away unexpectedly on January 21st 2022. Jack was the beloved husband of his late wife Miriam for almost 64 full and loving years. He was the proud and devoted father to his son Jack, Jr. and his wife Jody, to his predeceased son, Ronald and his wife Janet, and to his daughter, Valerie (Boyajian) Camiel and her husband Charles.
Jack also leaves behind his large and adoring family - grandchildren, Nicholas, Talia, David, Shawna, Blair, Adam, Danielle, and Ross, 7 great-grandchildren, and his beloved 4 legged companion, Cinnamon.
Born in Hartford, Connecticut, Jack was the son of the late Harry and Rebecca Boyajian and brother to the late Ann Bandazian and Ardem Yousoof.
After attending the University of Maryland, Jack joined the Army until being honorably discharged. A contractor by trade, Jack loved building and using his hands. His basement has a full workshop where he created pieces of furniture for his children. He even built Jack Jr. a house - which was fondly known as “the house that Jack built.”
Nothing was more important to Jack than his family. If any of his children or grandchildren were in need, he would be there. From family uber driver to handyman, his family could always count on him. He had a big personality and an even bigger heart. He always had an animated story to tell, whether it was about his youthful days with his dear cousin Haig or his courtship with his wife Miriam. He lived and loved large. There was nothing he wouldn’t do for those he loved.
Jack read voraciously, was a news junkie and always loved a spirited political debate. He had friends from all walks of life, charming them with his wit and smile.
When Miriam died in early 2019, Jack rescued a dog, Cinnamon; they actually rescued each other. He had never lived alone in his life, and with Miriam gone, he knew he needed company. Jack was fortunate to live close by to his daughter Valerie and her husband Charles, and his son Jack and his wife Jody. He saw them frequently, having dinner with each of them on a weekly basis. His grandchildren were always in touch, giving him updates on their lives. He was so proud of them all and was never afraid to tell you about them!
His family is devastated by their sudden loss, but are at peace, knowing that Jack now rests with his beloved Miram and his loving son Ronald.
