Donald L. Richard, age 74, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on January 23, 2022. He was born on February 2, 1947 in Holyoke, a son of the late Arthur and Annette (Labrie) Richard. Donald served in the US Navy and was a Vietnam Veteran. He later worked for UPS for 30 years before he retired. He loved going to car shows and walking his dog Jaxson. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Pamela (Bentley) Richard of Chicopee; one son Jeremy Richard and his wife Cathy of East Longmeadow; two daughters, Jennifer Freeman and her husband Jeffrey of Ledyard, CT and Rebecca Rogers and her husband Kevin of Chicopee; one twin brother, Ronald Richard of Granby; six grandchildren, Ashleigh Richard, Zachary Richard, Noah Freeman, Aidan Couture, Owen Rogers and Shayna Rogers; one sister-in-law Roberta Richard of Cincinnati, OH. He also leaves his long time friends BJ and Maryellen Donovan of Springfield. He was predeceased by his brother George Richard. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 28, 2022 at St Rose de Lima Church at 11:30 AM with burial to follow in the MA Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Agawam.
