Domingo Lopez Lopez, better known as "El Ciego", 66, of Cayey, Puerto Rico passed away peacefully on January 18, 2022.
Loving son of Gloria Lopez and the late Domingo Lopez of Cayey, Puerto Rico. Devoted father of Nelson Javier, Domingo, and Glory Iveliz Lopez. Cherished grandfather of Amairani, Yazmani, Atianna, Yamil, Yezenia, Ayanna, and Kianna. Beloved brother of Gloria Ivette and Carmen Lopez of Cayey, Puerto Rico. Also, survived by many nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
Domingo was born on December 12, 1955. He grew up in Barrio Montellano, Cayey Puerto Rico. He worked as a presser all his life and owned a cleaners-laundromat. Domingo enjoyed spending time with family. Cooking Sunday dinner and having cookouts were his favorite. Baseball was his favorite sport. He was a true fan of the "Toritos de Cayey" baseball team. Spending time with his granddaughter Atianna and Kianna brought so much joy to him. They often watched movies, cooked, over ate chocolate, danced and enjoyed having long conversations.
Domingo enjoyed playing dominoes, listening to old school salsa and having long discussion of Puerto Rico's politics with his nephew Alexander. Dressing sharp was his biggest thing. He always wore guayaveras and sombreros.
He loved talking about Puerto Rico and its beautiful culture.
