Maybelle Pirkle Cross, age 88, of Jackson, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022. She was born August 23, 1933 to the late Grover and Bessie Jones Pirkle. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John, and her son, Mark and her siblings, Junie Howard, Estus Pirkle, Florence Bowen, Edwin Pirkle, Geneva Roberts, Grace Hoyt, Gene Pirkle, Ethelene Haselton and Otho Pirkle. Mrs. Cross is survived by her son Lance Cross, her daughter and son-in-law Donna and John Davis, and one grandchild. The family will receive friends and loved ones for a viewing and funeral in McDonough, GA from 2:00pm - 4:00pm at Haisten Funeral Home on Sunday, January 23, 2022. A second service will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Bethel Baptist Church in Sycamore, GA with the burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:00pm until the service time.
