Obituary

WORCESTER___Jane A. (Muhr) Bousquet Perron of Worcester passed away peacefully on January 19, 2022 from complications of Covid and declining health. Jane was born on May 26, 1932 to George E. and Anna G. (Finneran) Muhr and lived in Worcester all her life.

Jane is survived by her devoted husband, Hubert Perron, her two children, Ann Marie Gilchrist and Stephen Bousquet and his wife Susan. She also leaves five grandchildren Kristin, Stephen, Ryan, Timothy and Kevin, ten great grandchildren Amanda, Milayna, Valentina, Emilynn, Aliana, Briella, Gabriella, Laylah, Declan and Noelle. .
She was predeceased by her son, Paul Bousquet in 2010, her brothers George and Robert Muhr and her former husband, Ernest Bousquet.

Jane was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother her family was her world. She never missed a baseball game, dance recital or graduation, she was so proud. If you were lucky enough to know her you were her friend for life and there was nothing that she wouldn’t do for you.

When her son Paul was paralyzed in an accident at the age of nineteen all of her time and energy was devoted to help Paul live the best life possible. To Paul she was known as “MY QUEEN” and that she was. In 2006 Mom had a stroke, the tables were turned and Paul became the caregiver. He did this each day with patience, it was because of him Mom became self-sufficient in a way we never thought possible. In 2010 Paul passed and a little bit of Mom’s zest for life went with him. We know that Paul was waiting at heaven’s gate saying come walk with me My Queen I have missed you.

Our family cannot begin to thank the staff of Summit Eldercare of Worcester and Knollwood Nursing Center for the care and assistance you have given us for over fifteen years. You allowed Mom to live her life with dignity. You have not been just Mom’s caregivers you are our extended family. We are forever grateful.
