Bonita Evelyn King, 76, of Anderson died January 17, 2022 at her brother's residence after a brief illness.
She was born on February 27, 1945 in Livingston, Tennessee to Arvil and Auda M. (Carter) King.
She worked in home healthcare for 30 years at visiting nurse company.
She attended the First Pentecostal Church. She was an avid reader of her Bible and enjoyed her Bible Study. She loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her brother, Gene King of Anderson; two nephews, Jeff (Lynn) King of Anderson and Bart (Tammy) King of Alexandria and several other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Arlin King, Cleston King, Larry King and Fred King.
Services will be held at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Dale Watson officiating from Greater Hope Apostolic Church. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 12:30pm until 1:30 pm at the funeral home.
Family requests that masks be worn for visitation and funeral.
Memorial contributions may be given to: St. Jude's Children Hospital.
