Michael Roy of Chelmsford, MA passed away on Tuesday January 18, 2022 at the age of 72 with his family by his side. He was pre-deceased by his son Brandyn Roy and is survived by his beloved wife Tatiana (Tanya) of Chelmsford, MA, his son Ivan Roy of Chelmsford, MA, his daughter Heather Noecker and her husband Andrew of Nashua NH, his son Bryan Roy and his wife Rachel of Westford, MA, his brothers Ernie Roy of Nashua, NH, Thomas Roy of San Diego, CA, William Roy of Waterford, ME, and his sister Patti Alexander of Salem, NH. He was the proud “Pepere” to his grandchildren: Holly Noecker, Henry Noecker and Lydia Roy. Michael graduated from Methuen High School in 1968 and served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam war. Michael worked for most of his career at Sweetheart Plastics in Wilmington, MA as a maintenance mechanic. He then worked for Centorr Vacuum Industries in Nashua NH throughout the remainder of his career, travelling all over the world installing and maintaining large vacuum furnaces. Michael loved sports, travel, golf, music, telling stories and spending time with his family.
Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, January 24, 2022 from 9:00 am to 10:30 am at Edgar J Racicot Inc. Funeral Home, 1400 Broadway Rd, Dracut, MA. A funeral service will begin at 10:30am at the Racicot Funeral Home and Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, 120 N Lowell, St, Methuen.
