William Joseph Franks 60 of Woonsocket, RI entered eternal rest January 20, 2022 at home surrounded by family.
He was born May 23, 1961, son of the late William C. Franks and the late Elizabeth A. (Willis) Franks.
He was a truck driver both locally and over the road. He had a strong love and passion for music, playing guitar in his free time. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He leaves behind his wife Kim-Simone (Lomberto) Franks of Woonsocket, RI, three children daughter Jessica L. Messer of Woonsocket RI, son Matthew S. Franks and spouse Shannon G. Trevett of Woonsocket, RI, daughter Meagan A. Franks and spouse Elias P. Rodriguez of Woonsocket, RI, 7 grandchildren Aidan W. Messer, Calleigh J. Messer, Jackson S. Franks, and Lucas S. Franks, Elias P. Rodriguez Jr, Elonso J. Rodriguez, and Olivia G. Franks.
His sibling, sister Debbie Nappi and spouse Martin Nappi of Milford, sister Kathy Trufant and spouse Frank Trufant of Franklin, sister Marie McCann of Mendon, sister Caroline Wilson and spouse Gerry Wilson of Hopedale, brother Norman Franks and spouse Amy Franks of Hopedale. He was the brother of the late John C. Franks.
Along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his calling hours in the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Sunday Jan. 23rd from 1-4PM.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations made to the American Cancer Society in his name.
