New Bedford – Paul A. Santos, age 82, of New Bedford, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Florence K. (Maguire) Santos.
Paul was born in New Bedford, MA to the late Anibal Santos and Mary (Florio) Santos. He had been a U.S. Army Veteran and later went on to work as an engineer for Garcia-Galuska-DeSousa Consulting Engineers for many years. He loved race cars and also enjoyed his model trains and cars in his free time.
Paul is survived by his loving wife, Florence Santos; his 4 stepchildren, Ann Marie Harris, Rick Hermert, Kathleen Stone and Brian Normandin; as well as several grandchildren.
Paul’s visiting hours will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 12:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Home with a service to take place during this time. Cremation will follow.
