Obituary

Cary J. "Duke" Taylor, 62, of Raymond, NH, died Monday January 17, 2022 in the Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH. He was born in Nashua, NH on May 9, 1959, a son of Richard and Janice (Cobleigh) Taylor. Mr. Taylor had been a resident of Raymond for the past 10 years, formerly living in Londonderry, NH. He was a graduate of Bishop Guertin High School in Nashua, and had attended the University of Lowell. Mr. Taylor had been the owner and operator of Innovative Concepts in Amherst, NH. He was currently employed as a manufacturing process engineer for IMS. He loved music, was an avid guitar player and had been a member of several bands over the years including One-Eyed Jack. In addition to his love of music, he enjoyed fishing, playing tennis, was a car enthusiast and had owned several Porsches. He was well known to have a very dry sense of humor.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his partner, Mary Rieger of Raymond; his daughter, Amanda Taylor of Londonderry, NH; his son, Jeffrey Taylor of Port Orange, FL; his granddaughter, Angelynn Taylor; his brother, Brian Taylor and his wife Lyn; his sister, Lynne Garrison and her husband David; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Following cremation, a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital of Boston. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium of Derry and Londonderry are assisting the family with arrangements.
