Obituary

Frank Picanso, a lifelong Lowell resident, passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022. He was the widower of the late Florence (Lajeunnese) Picanso with whom he shared 33 years of marriage before she passed away.

He was a son of the late Antonio and the late Maria Picanso. He was raised in Lowell, where he attended the area schools. After high school, Frank enlisted with the United States Army, proudly serving during World War II until his honorable discharge.

Upon returning stateside, Frank worked as a supervisor at Pellon for many years until his retirement.

Frank is survived by his sister, Evangeline (Alberto) Quattrochi and his niece, Judith Quattrochi. He is also survived by his nephew, John Anthony Quattrochi and his wife, Susan McKeever Quattrochi of St. Augustine, Florida, his grandnephew, John Paul Quattrochi and his wife, Megan Lickley (Quattrochi), and his great grandniece, Leona Lickley (Quattrochi) of Cambridge, MA, and his grand niece, Gina Quattrochi of Los Angeles, California.

In accordance with the City of Lowell mandate, masks are required - on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 all are welcome to attend his calling hours from 9:30 -11 a.m. at McDonough Funeral Home, 14 Highland Street, Lowell, 978-458-6816.

His funeral Mass will be offered at 12 p.m. at St. Margaret of Scotland Church, 374 Stevens Street, Lowell, followed by burial at St. Patrick Cemetery.
