Steven John Marion, 57, of Derry, NH, died Thursday, January 13, 2022, in Parkland Medical Center, Derry. He was born in Lawrence, MA on August 29, 1964, a son of the late Raymond and Carol (Gauthier) Marion. Steve worked for Pinkerton Academy for 13 years in the building and grounds department.
Steve enjoyed concerts, beach trips and trips to Foxwoods. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids and going to the family camp.
He is survived by his partner, Kim Donaghey of 32 years; three sons, Steve Marion, Jr. and his wife Shawna, David Marion and his wife Jahairy, Jay Marion and his wife Katie; daughter, Linda Marion and fiancé Nick; 10 grandchildren, David Marion, Emma Marion, Jordan Marion, Evie Marion, Ava Marion, Liam Marion, Chris Dube, Corey Marion, Ollie Marion, and Grace Marion; brother, Ray Marion; three sisters, Debbie Solomon, Donna McLlarky and husband Bruce and Gina Caron and husband Jimmy, as well as several nieces and nephews. Steven is predeceased by his brother Billy Marion.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am in the funeral home. The burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry Rd, E. Derry, NH. At the family’s request, all those in attendance are required to wear face masks while in the funeral home.
