In Taunton, January 12, 2022 Brian P. Sullivan loving son of Jerry and Fran (Reilly) Sullivan died in his home surrounded by his family at the age of 53. Born in Taunton, Brian was educated at Taunton High School class of 1986 then went on to receive his Bachelor's degree at the University of Scranton in PA in 1990 then his Master degree at Simmons College in 1998. Brian dedicated his life to working with children with special needs and ensuring that they were safe and cared for. Brian served most recently as a Special Education Math and Science Teacher at Taunton High School. He also served as a summer School Director and as the freshman baseball and assistant varsity hockey coach during his tenure. He was an avid Boston sports fan especially the Boston Bruins. Brian was a member of the Taunton Lodge of Elk’s Lodge 150 and Taunton Teachers Association. Brian made every friend and co worker feel like a best friend and his compassion was unmatched. He was the brother and best friend of Sean Sullivan and his wife Hollie of Taunton. Uncle of Kayla Rasar of New Bedford and Zoe Martin and her husband Matt of SC. Great uncle of Emmett Rasar of New Bedford. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and many cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Mary’s Church in Taunton on Thursday, January 20th at 11 AM. Masks will be required to be worn during the Mass at St Mary’s Church. Interment St Francis Cemetery in Taunton.
