Dorothy Sue Craft Elrod, 64, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Thursday, January 13, 2022, at her residence.
Funeral services will be 1 PM, Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, Georgia with Bill Sercer officiating. Interment will follow at 3:30 Wednesday, in Cedar Valley Cemetery in Montezuma, Georgia. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until 1 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Dorothy was born August 18, 1957, in Unadilla, Georgia, to the late Hamp Brannen & the late June Wisham Foster. She was a 1975 graduate of Crisp County High School and was a caregiver. She was a loving mother, mentor, aunt and nana to many. She always put others before herself.
She is survived by her children: Christy Craft, Charlie Randall “Little Doc” Craft, Jr., Michael Brandon Craft, Calvin Outlaw, Angel Leann Flinchum and Leslie Nicole Flinchum; grandchildren: Auhnesty Flinchum, Mason Flinchum, Kaydreon Flinchum, Takoda Flinchum and one on the way; three brothers: Ronnie Foster, Ernie Foster and Billy Brannen and a sister, Jackie Foster. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands: Charlie Randall “Doc” Craft and Eddie Elrod.
