Mark R. Mailloux age 41 of Salem, NH went to be with his heavenly Father on Sunday, April 23.
He was born in Lawrence, MA on July 5, 1964. He was the precious son of Victor and Marion (Weeks) Mailloux.
Mark was born hearing impaired and was sign language dependent. At age 17 he became ill with a rare Encephalitis that added to his handicaps. His education began at the Crotched Mountain School for the Deaf in Greenfield, NH. He later attended a mainstreaming program in the Manchester School System. He was a junior in high school when he took ill with encephalitis. While at Crotched Mountain he received the Smokey the Bear State Award for his artistic abilities. He participated in Karate at the Methuen Karate Association. He received a trophy for his efforts.
Mark enjoyed going to the Easter Seal Daily Program. He especially loved playing bingo at the Debbie Voter center. He would get all excited when he won prizes and would give them to his family. Mark loved to collect metal model cars and loved to look at magazines about cars. He loved family outings, especially to the beach.
In spite of his handicaps, he was very friendly & sociable, and loved his home and family life. Every night he would tell Jesus he loved him in sign language.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 29 at 10:30 AM at the Hanna Tenney Methodist Church, Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH.
Calling hours will be held Friday, April 28 from 5-8 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH.
