Shirley (Campanirio) Brady was the most caring wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. She left this world suddenly on January 10, 2022 after a hard fought battle with covid at the age of 79.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Aurielo and Elsie (Mendes) Campanirio. She was predeceased by her true love Leo “Bud” Brady. Together they had their only daughter Darcy (Brady) Gagne who was not only her daughter but her very best friend.
Shirley grew up in Taunton and worked at Morton hospital for over 45 years in the Environmental Services Department. Shirley was the most kind, giving and loving person anyone would have the pleasure to meet. She was loved by all and will be missed immensely.
Shirley is survived by her beloved daughter Darcy and her husband Michael Gagne of Taunton. She was the ever loving aunt of Barri and her husband Gary Maltais of Westport. Sister of Brenda Silvia and her husband Ron of Wareham, Caraline Campanirio of New Bedford, Ronald Campanirio of FL and the late Lionel Campanirio, Aurelio Campanirio Jr., Leona Lewis and Kevin Campanirio. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. A service will be held from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home 70 Washington Street in Taunton on Tuesday, January 18th at 11 AM. Calling hours will be on Monday from 1-4 PM. Interment St Joseph Cemetery in Taunton.
