Obituary

Susan T. (Perrin) Nadeau, 67, of Londonderry, NH, passed away on January 9, 2022 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH surrounded by her family after losing her battle with rapidly progressing Alzheimer’s disease.

Susan was born January 22, 1954, in Lowell, MA a daughter of Theresa and Ephrem Perrin. She was a graduate of Lowell High School, Class of 1971. Susan earned her Degree at Newbury College in MA. She worked at WNA Comet Products in Chelmsford, MA, and Upper Deck Card Company in Las Vegas, NV.

Susan had been an active member with the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 662 in Lowell, MA. She was also a member of the Elks Club in Lowell, and Salem-Derry Elks in Salem, NH.

Susan enjoyed dancing, line dancing and going on cruises. She especially enjoyed vacations with family and friends, always looking for warm places to go. Las Vegas was one of her favorite destinations and enjoyed living there for years. Susan will always be remembered for her boisterous personality and laugh.

Susan contracted COVID-19 on December 25, 2020, and after months of long haul side effects she was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. She deteriorated rapidly over the months that followed, shocking everyone who knew her.

She will be deeply missed by all and welcomed by those that passed before her. God bless her.

Susan is survived by her husband of 47 years Henry “Harry” Nadeau, her daughter Krista Leahy and her husband Brian, her son Joseph Nadeau, and her granddaughter Ava Leahy. Susan also leaves behind her sisters-in-law, Grace Miller of Nashua, NH, Nancy Tremblay of Dracut, MA, Dorothy Nadeau of Pelham, NH, Barbara Taylor and her husband Terry of Aiken, SC, her brother-in-law David Hogue of Dracut, MA, and many cousins, several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Susan is predeceased her sisters, Alice Curtsinger and Diane Hogue.
