Deborah N. Shorey, 60, of Manchester, NH passed peacefully at her residence Sunday, January 9, 2022. She was born August 22, 1961, in Methuen, MA and was a daughter of Sandra (Johnson) Harvill and the late Alexander Niedbala. Deborah had been a resident in Londonderry and Derry in her early years and then Raymond for many years and had been a resident of Manchester for the past 2 years.
Deborah was a student transport bus driver with Durham School Services for 3 years and prior to that a long-time driver with the Provider. She was a member and Sunday School Teacher at Victory Baptist Church of Londonderry, NH. Debbie enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening and fix up projects around the home. She also enjoyed riding her motorcycle and skiing in years past. She will forever be remembered for how much she loved doting on her grandchildren and generously giving of herself for her family.
Members of the family include her husband of 5 years, Michael Shorey, her daughter, Leah (Gregg) Ford, her mother, Sandra (Larry) Harvill, five grandchildren, Logan, Hannah, Jacoby, Grayson and Magdalene and her sister, Katherine (John) Anderson. She was predeceased by her father in 1988, a grandchild in 2003 and her son, Zachary in 2005.
Calling hours will be held Friday January 14, 2022, from 9-11am at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street Derry, NH. Funeral service will be at 11 and will conclude with burial at Forest Hill Cemetery, in Derry. Face masks are recommended for those who are not fully vaccinated. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the New Hampshire SPCA, 104 Portsmouth Road Stratham, NH 03885.
