Obituary

Anthony Ammendolia Jr., 47, of Abington, passed away after a strong fight against COVID-19 on January 8, 2022 in Weymouth. Anthony was born to parents, Meridith and Anthony Ammendolia Sr., in Concord. From a young age, he enjoyed fishing, animals, sports and exploring the outdoors.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Especially his 3 nephews who he loved very much. His favorite things included his beloved dog Cody and his animals on the farm in Maine.
Anthony knew that his life's mission was to serve those who needed him most. After graduating from North Middlesex High School, he proceeded to take counseling courses at UMASS Dartmouth.
He spent over 15 years managing Sober Houses in the Boston area. His heart always went into everything he did for others and he took great pride in being able to help the people around him. The Sober Houses he managed have thrived, in part, due to the dedication of Anthony and his coworkers who poured endless hours into ensuring their success. Especially his business partner and his best friend Kenny who was what you would call a true friend. Like a brother. Someone you could trust with your life. If you can have 1 friend like that in your life you should feel blessed and lucky.
Anthony is survived by both of his parents, Meridith and Anthony Sr.; his brothers, Robert Ammendolia of Ashby and Jacob Ammendolia of Ashby; his sister, Jacqueline and her husband, Bruce Dickinson along with their 3 Sons Dakota, Ashton and Blake; as well as a host of loving friends, extended family members, and members of his community.
My brother my friend you are truly one of kind. You have touched so many lives over the years with your great big personality and great big heart. We were blessed to have you in our lives. Our journey is not over dear brother until we meet again. We hope to see signs of you along the way. Because, you will never be forgotten and will be missed by so many. You will always be in our hearts now and forever.
