Nawal (Salibi) Kalfayan, 83, of New Bedford, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2021 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was the wife of Ghaukas Kalfayan.
Mrs. Kalfayan was born in Alay, Lebanon, daughter of the late Ibrahim and Laurice (Yammine) Salibi. She was a sweetheart of a person who loved people and was always generous. She will be remembered for being a doting mother who cared deeply for her family.
Survivors along with her husband include her 3 sons: Garbice Kalfayan and his wife Therese of Lebanon, Jean Kalfayan and his wife Micha of Lebanon and Sarkis Kalfayan of New Bedford; her daughter: Marguerite Kalfayan of Lebanon; 5 grandchildren; many brothers and sisters from the Salibi Family; along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass to which relatives and friends are invited will be Thursday, January 6, 2021 at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 186 Cross Rd., Dartmouth, MA 02727 at 11:30 A.M.
Interment to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Bedford.
