Mary Elizabeth (Downey) (Anzivino) Jordan, 81, of Medway passed away on January 3, 2022 at the Milford Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of 35 years to Roger L. Jordan, who passed away this past November.
Mary was born in Milford, MA to the late Lewis Francis and Mary Margaret (Meade) Downey. She attended Medway Public Schools, graduating as class Salutatorian. Mary resided in Medway her entire life.
Mary was an avid antique collector and dealer, as well as loving anything and everything having to do with nature. Some of her favorite memories were made in the White Mountains of NH with her husband and children. She also loved ballroom dancing with her husband, and they could not resist live music and a dance floor.
Mary is survived by her sister, Veronica (Downey) Nolin of Attleboro, her children, Laurie Anzivino of Medway, Teresa Barrows of Uxbridge, Sharon Anzivino-Carbonneau and her husband, Michael, of Worcester, Wendy Reiffarth and her husband, James, of Blackstone, Matthew F. Anzivino and his wife, Kara, of Medway, Roger Jordan, Jr. and his wife, Lynn, of North Smithfield, Andrew Jordan and his wife, Melanie, of Franklin, and Jeffrey Jordan and his partner, Karen Esposito, of Johnston, RI. Mary was predeceased by her first husband, Matthew Anzivino, Jr. in 1980, her sister, Helen (Downey) McKeon and her brother, Lewis Downey. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and her beloved beagle, Fender.
There will be no calling hours, and burial will be private.
