Rita E. (Guilbeault) Farland, 80, of New Bedford died July 28, 2002 at St. Luke's Hospital.
She was the wife of the late Alfred L. Farland, who died on January 27, 2002.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Laura D. (Bernard) Guilbeault, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
She was a communicant of St. Anne's Church.
Mrs. Farland was formerly employed by Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company until her retirement.
Survivors include 3 sisters-in-law, Theresa Guilbeault and Marie Cayer, both of New Bedford and Diane Farland of Connecticut; and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Leo Guilbeault and Leonard Guilbeault.

Entombment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
