Catherine A. Befort, 78, of Anthony Street, Coventry, passed away on Saturday December 16th in the Greenwood Center, Warwick. She was the wife of the late Francis J. Befort.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Joseph H. and Grace E. (Dawson) Quinn. She had lived in Coventry previously living in West Warwick and Scituate.
She had been a Bus Driver with Laidlaw whom serviced the Coventry School Department.
She leaves her children, Brian Befort of Coventry, Ronald Befort of Coventry, John Paul Befort, Joseph Befort, Donna Befort, Charles O’Rourke and Ann-Marie Lafrenaye. She was a grandmother of 9 and a great-grandmother to 9. She was the sister to Joseph Quinn, Fr. Charles Quinn and Robert Quinn. She was the mother of the late Donald Befort. She was the sister of the late Grace Greene and John Quinn.
Funeral Service Thursday January 6th at 1pm in the Chapel at Highland Park, Johnston.
