Archie Ryland Wilks passed away unexpectedly on December 11, 2021 at the age of 3 months old.
Archie was born in Manchester, NH at Catholic Medical Center on September 17, 2021. He resided in Goffstown, NH with his parents Annelise Gott and Donald Wilks Jr. Along with his five siblings Elijah Pouliot (10), Steven Gott III (6), Sawyer Gott (5), Stella Wilks (2) and twin brother Arlo Wilks (3 months).
Archie was born at 33 weeks 1 day, 9 minutes after his fraternal twin brother Arlo. He spent the first 3 weeks and 4 days of life in the NICU. Once he came home though, he was so loved and adored by his siblings. He was his daddy’s “little potato” and his brother Steven’s favorite. Anywhere we went Steven was right there caring for Archie. Always wanting to hold him. Every night Archie would cuddle with his twin brother Arlo. He slept best when they were next to each other. Archie was the one with a big personality for such a tiny baby. It was amazing watching them grow into such different babies. His father and I will never forget the day he came into our world. The first time we held him. The day we brought him home. Each and everyday cherished. Our last day with Archie as a whole family was December 10, 2021. We took all the kids to see Santa and get their pictures done. Archie was so calm in his brother Steven’s arms for the pictures. None of us would’ve expected this was our last family activity together. I just wish we had more time with Archie. I wonder what he would’ve looked like, who he would’ve become. To just hold him one last time. We will never get this piece of our hearts back and we will forever love our baby boy.
