JOSEPH A. GREGOIRE, 66, of New Haven, CT passed away at New Haven Rehabilitation & Nursing Facility on Wednesday, December 22, 2021. Joe was born in Providence, RI and lived in Greenville for 50 years before moving to Connecticut in 2005. He was the son of the late Leonard and Roberta (Hoey) Gregoire, and brother of the late Paul Gregoire. Joe is survived by his son,Joseph Gregoire, Jr, of Smithfield, RI, his brother Ronald Gregoire and his wife Karen, of Hampton, CT, his sister Suzanne Cusano and her husband Ben, of Providence, RI, his sister Cecile Rubiano and her husband Dan, of Greenville, RI, and nieces and nephews. Joe worked in the jewelry industry and later worked for Stop & Shop in Rhode Island and then Connecticut until he retired. He was a member of the Smithfield Elks Lodge 2359, where he held many positions including Exalted Ruler. Mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday December 30, 2021, at 9:30 AM, at St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville, RI 02828. The family respectfully requests those attending to please wear a mask. Visitation respectfully omitted. Burial will be private.
