Rita (Demers) Royer, 90, died at her home following a brief illness.
She was born in Manchester on February 2, 1931 the daughter of Albert and Louise Demers.
Prior to her retirement she was a Toll Test Technician.
She was predeceased by her husband, Maurice F. Royer on March 5, 1992, and two sons; Steven Royer on December 15, 1977 and Brian Royer on July 26, 2010.
Family members include five children; Dennis Royer of Keene, Michael Royer of Beverly Hills, FL., Linda Sayer and her husband, Jeb of Salem, Gary Royer of Manchester, Bruce Royer and his wife, Paula of Auburn, seven grandchildren, Melissa, Michael, Katelyn, Jacob, Melina, Briana, Derek, three great grandchildren; Lilliyah, Alton, Evelyn, two sisters; Doris Henderson, Lucille Sweeney and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was also predeceased by two brothers; Roger Demers and Richard Demers and one sister, Theresa Shortall.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 10:00 to 11:30 am at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
A mass of Christian burial will follow calling hours at 12 pm in St. Peter Church, Auburn.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
