Obituary

Worcester: Earle K. Pearson, 92, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 17, 2021 in Care One Millbury. He leaves his wife of 70 years Dorothy (VanDeMark) Pearson; 2 daughters- Diane Pearson of South Deerfield and Deborah McCarthy and her husband Sean of Holden; a granddaughter Brittany; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Elmer and by 2 sisters Ethel and Edith.

Earle was born in Worcester, son of the late Emile and Esther (Ackeson) Pearson. He graduated from Commerce High School and served in the Naval Reserves and in the US Army. For one of his first jobs, he worked with his dad, who was a blacksmith at Cole and Pearson Blacksmith Shop. He worked in the Sales Department for Morgan Construction Company for several years.

He was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on May 9, 1959 and was a dedicated member and had served as an Elder in the Burncoat/Worcester Congregation. Earle was musically inclined and wrote the music for the graduation song at Commerce High School's class of 1948 graduation. His sense of humor was enjoyed by many.

A memorial service will be held via zoom at a later date. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in Earle's memory may be made to the worldwide work of Jehovah's Witnesses via JW.org.
