Peter T. Haynes, 75, passed away Saturday, November 20th, at Newton Wellesley Hospital.
Peter, the beloved father of three, leaves behind his daughter Heather (Haynes) Stone and husband Greg of Akron, NY, his oldest son Scott Haynes and wife Tina of Bellingham, MA, and his youngest son Ben Haynes and wife Marcia of Bellingham, MA. He was also the proud grandfather of seven; Hunter Haynes, the late Dylan Lambert, Everett Stone, Celina Haynes, Ryanne Haynes, Dawson Stone and Kyla Haynes.
Peter was born in Boston on April 18th, 1946 and was raised in Waltham, MA by his parents the late Richard and Beatrice Haynes. In 1976, he moved to Bellingham with his wife Artrina to raise their family.
Peter was a New England Patriots and Nascar fan, he spent many Sundays with his family watching. He was also an avid boater, joining the Newton Yacht Club in 1983, where he remained an active member for 38 years. Peter always enjoyed the time he spent on his boat, especially at Worlds End in Hull. For the last 28 years, Peter spent his summer months aboard his boat at the yacht club, where he made great friendships and developed an extended family of fellow members that he also leaves behind.

At the wishes of Peter, there will not be funeral services at this time but there will be a celebration of life in the spring.
