Obituary

George O. Favreau, 89, of Pelham, NH died Monday at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA.

He was born in Newburyport, MA, grew up and was educated in Lawrence, MA, and had been a resident of Pelham for over 60 years. He served his country in the Army prior to entering the Marines where he served in the Pacific Theater during World War II.

He was employed as a Maintenance Manager for the Berkeley Nursing Home in Lawrence, MA. He had also worked for Pinecrest Nursing Home, Raytheon and Malden Mills. He enjoyed collecting and repairing clocks as well as hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed spending time with friends. He was the Treasurer for the Campbell Grove Association of Little Island Pond in Pelham, NH.

He was predeceased by his wife Rita (McGrath) Favreau and his son Richard G. Favreau.

Randy Favreau & his wife Judy of Randy Favreau of Bloomington, IN
Robert Favreau of Chicago, IL

Brother: Douglas Mercier of SC

Sister: Carole & her husband Roland Berube of Methuen, MA

Great Grandson: Jamie Favreau
Numerous nieces & nephews

There are no calling hours. A Graveside service will be held Saturday at 11 AM at Gibson Cemetery in Pelham, NH.
