Obituary

PEPPERELL___Harold “Rusty” Garron, 62, of Pepperell, died Sunday, December 5, 2021 at home.

He is survived by his wife of thirty two years, Kathleen Murphy. He also leaves his children, Michael Burns and Daniel Burns both of Lowell, William Garron and his wife Jacey of Worcester and Ayden Burns of Pepperell; daughters Janelle Gonzalez and her husband Daniel Gonzalez; Amanda Burns of New Mexico; a brother Kevin Garron and his wife Celia of Lowell; sisters Catherine SantaFe and her husband Jim, Paula Oczkowski and her husband Jim, all of New Hampshire and Carol Coleman and her husband Jeff of Florida; brother-in-law Tom Groves; thirteen grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and extended family. He is predeceased by a sister Donna Groves. He was born in Everett, Ma, a son of Paul and Grace (Jarvis) Garron.

Mr. Garron worked many years as a tradesman before retiring. He also served in the United States Army as a Tow and Dragon Missile Specialist. He graduated from Billerica High School and attended UMASS Lowell where he studied accounting. He was an avid NASCAR fan and loved cars in general. He treasured spending time with his family, especially his many grandchildren. Rusty will be missed by everyone who’s life he touched.

A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday December 18th at the Pepperell Veterans of Foreign Wars, 55 Leighton St, Pepperell, MA from 1:30PM to 4:30PM. DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton Street, Worcester is assisting the family.
