Charlotte M. (Karbowski) Shilalie, 102, of Manchester New Hampshire, formerly of Worcester, Auburn and Spencer, MA, died on December 5, 2021, in St. Teresa Rehabilitation and Nursing Home, Manchester, New Hampshire.
She is survived by her three daughters, Jane Coseo and her husband Dr. Robert Coseo of Venice, FL, Constance Surrette of Merrimack, NH, and Carole Mercurio and her husband Guy of Arundel, ME, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, her husband, Joseph Shilalie, seven siblings, son-in-law, Ronald Surrette and sister-in-law Virginia Shilalie.
She was born in Worcester, MA a daughter of Vincent and Julia (Karczmarczyk) Karbowski.
Mrs. Shilalie was an office manager for United Dairy, Co., prior to her retirement. She graduated from Commerce High School and attended business school evenings. She was a member of the St. Agnes Guild as well as a volunteer at the Worcester Girl’s Club and St. Vincent Hospital. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of St. Teresa’s Nursing Home and Cindy Hebert for their care, kindness and empathy.
A graveside service will be in Notre Dame Cemetery at a later date.
