Joan M. Greene, 71, of Francis Avenue, Pawtucket, died Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at her home. She was the wife of Stephen C. Greene. They had been married for 49 ½ years.
Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Albert P. and Armanda Marie (Vanaudenhove) Van Herpe. She had lived in Pawtucket her whole life.
Joan worked in the family business, Van & Company in Pawtucket for many years before retiring.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her sons: Stephen M. Greene of Pawtucket and his wife Shannon and Brian M. Greene of Pawtucket and his Fiancé Alessa, her nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a brother: Robert L. VanHerpe of Chepachet and his wife Maureen.
Her funeral service will be held Friday at 12:30pm in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Visitation Thursday 4-6pm.
