Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday at 9:30 am. Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein/St. Edward Parish at 10:30 am. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Visiting hours Friday 5-8 pm.
Obituary
Mr. DeRosa died Tuesday evening at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Born, raised and educated in Boston, a son of the late Louis and Pasqualina DeRosa. He served in the Army Air Force during WW II in the Company B 47th Engineer Battalion. Mr. DeRosa had been employed for over 25 years by the State of Massachusetts in the Water Treatment Plant in Boston. He was an avid reader, a boxing fan and also enjoyed the Raynham Dog Track and trips to Foxwoods.
He is survived by three sons, Joseph E. DeRosa and his wife Joan, Michael A. DeRosa and his companion Michelle Conroy and Kenneth L. DeRosa all of Brockton, his grandchildren Joseph, James and John DeRosa and great grandson Matthew DeRosa.
He was the husband of the late Irene A. (Giles) DeRosa
