Adelina Chacon, a resident of Everett, passed away at the Whidden Hospital in Everett on Monday morning, November 29, 2021. She was 89 years old.
Born in La Palma, El Salvador, she was the beloved daughter of the late Transito Gutierrez and Beatriz Chacon. Adelina loved to cook, go shopping and travel. Above all, she was a very devoted mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her loving children: Rosa Martinez, Maria Julia Rodriguez, Jorge Chacon, Blanca Barrios, Dinora Gutierrez, and Sulma Tejada. And her grandchildren: Dora Portillo, Sandra Lopez, Moises Chacon, Francisco Martinez, Yaneth Martinez, Jorge Rosales, Patricia Rosales, Kevin Landaverde, Orlando Landaverde, Ingrid Landaverde, Jose Moreno, Carolina Gutierrez, Melissa Valladares, Stephanie Valladares, Abraham Barrios, Alex Perez, Oscar Diaz-Gutierrez, Frank Tejada and Jonathan Tejada. She was also the mother of the late Raul Chacon and Moises Orlando Landaverde.
Her funeral service will be celebrated in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at 6 PM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Visitation will be held in the funeral home, prior to the service, from 5 to 6 PM. Interment will be privately held.
