Mrs. Josephine L. Iritano, a longtime resident of Medford and beloved wife of Alfred “Frank” Iritano, passed away at her home on Friday afternoon, November 26, 2021. She was 93 years old.
Josephine was the beloved daughter of the late Paul and Mary (Fabiano) Stancato. Josephine and Alfred were married on December 12, 1959. She enjoyed singing and was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Medford. She will be dearly missed.
Besides her beloved husband of nearly 62 years, Alfred, Josephine is survived by her loving Son; Nick and his wife Frann Riggin of Everett, Leona Tevari of Medford, Robin Iritano of Medford and Julie and her husband Joseph Weddleton of Georgia, grandchildren; Joshua, Rainone, Lehka, Scotty and Nicky. She is also survived by many nieces and nephew and had seven sisters and four brothers. Josephine was also the grandmother of the late Peter Riggin.
Her Funeral Service will be celebrated in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at 11:30AM. Visitation will be held in the funeral home, prior to the service, from 10 to 11:30AM. Interment will be held in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
