Donald (Doc) Evan Hurd, 68, of Cocoa, Florida, passed away on November 25, 2021 at Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford. Donald was born in Saco, Maine on September 19, 1953, the son of Charles F. and Ruth K. Hurd. He was a graduate of Thornton Academy.
He worked as a mechanic for Twin Town Toyota in Saco, then moved to Florida to manage a gentlemen's club, and finally changing his career to driving tractor/trailer across the country. He loved riding his motorcycle and especially enjoyed fishing and shrimping in the warm Florida waters.
Don is survived by his wife Lois, daughter Trisha and his sister, Martha Hurd-Call as well as three grandchildren.
