Roland R. Dupere, 81, of Dartmouth passed away Monday, November 22, 2021 at Hathaway Manor after a brief period of declining health. He was the husband of Mary Ann (Mendonca) Dupere.
Born in Fall River, son of the late Albert and Lauretta (Autote) Dupere, he lived in Dartmouth for most of his life.
Roland was a graduate of Roger Williams University.
He was formerly employed as a project manager for Hebrew Rehabilitation Center for the Aged for many years until his retirement.
Roland enjoyed projects and working with his bobcat and backhoe. He could always find something to do and could fix anything. He loved spending time with his family and his prized pug, Shelby Louise.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; his daughter, Tina Dupere; a brother; two sisters; and many nieces and nephews.
His visitation will be held Sunday, November 28, 2021 from 1-4 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Services and burial are omitted.
