Jimmie Scarberry, 74, of Tifton passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at his residence. A private funeral service and burial will be held for Mr. Scarberry at a later date.
Born January 15, 1947, in Louisiana, Mr. Scarberry was the son of the late James Scarberry and Pauline Smith Scarberry. He was also preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers. He was a retired tree surgeon and he loved to fish. He served in the United States Army in the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Scarberry is survived by four sons, Jim Scarberry of Tifton, Jimmy Scarberry of Alabama, Joseph Scarberry of Norman Park and Michael Chinell of Leesburg; and several grandchildren, including Christopher Scarberry.
