Obituary

Joseph John Agrusso, 73, of Tyngsboro, passed away on Friday, November 12 in the comfort of his home peacefully from complications of a chronic illness.
He was born on March 5, 1948 in Gloucester, MA, a son of the late Captn. Joseph Agrusso and the late Doris Stack (Record). He was raised and educated in that area. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Army, serving his country for a number of years in Vietnam before he was honorably discharged. Sgt. Agrusso was awarded several medals during his time in Vietnam and was a natural leader.

Mr. Agrusso was a self-made determined individual. He started on the floor as a mechanic and worked his way to the top where he became a manager of maintenance for large truck fleets. He excelled at anything hands on and made a career in the hydraulics service industry owning several businesses of his own. 
 
Joe was a member of several organization including the American Legion Post 247 and post 313 where he spent time with his fellow veterans and close friends. Joe had a passion for fast cars and loved restoring cars. He was a generous man that lived life to the fullest and feared nothing.
 
He is survived by his 2 children, Joseph Agrusso III of Goffstown, NH and Melissa Fortier and her husband, Andrew, of Nashua, his grandchildren, Blayne Agrusso, Brayden Fortier and Aiden Agrusso. He is also survived by his dear friend, Lisa Caterino, who for the past several months cared for him with respect and compassion.
He was also the Father of the late Kenneth Agrusso who passed away in April of 2018.
