Mr. Richard J. Leary, a lifelong resident of Medford, passed away at his home on Saturday, November 13, 2021. He was 68 years old.
Born on August 4, 1953, he was the beloved son of the late Arthur J. and Daisy I. (Goodland) Leary. Rick worked as a Supervisor for Harvard Vanguard, for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed investing in, and the re-selling of, antiques. He also loved Medford’s rich history and was a member of the Medford Historical Society. He will be dearly missed by family and many friends alike.
Rick is survived by his loving brother; David J. Leary of Woburn, uncle Cyril Goodland of Charlotte, North Carolina, and several other cousins.
His funeral service will be celebrated in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 10:30 AM. Visitation will be held in the funeral home, prior to the service, from 9 to 10:30 AM. Interment will be held in the Westview Cemetery in Lexington.
