Kerrelle A. Dow, age 53, passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the fiancé of Joe Caledonia. Born in Beverly, MA, she was the daughter of Linda C. (Beck) Dow and the late Joseph L. Dow.
Kerrelle was raised in Brockton and was a graduate of Brockton High School. She later attended Massasoit Community College and Eastern Nazarene College where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Most recently, she worked as a teacher at Little Discoveries in Brockton for six years; she felt teaching was a passion, not a job.
Kerrelle was an empathetic, caring, goofy, spontaneous and compassionate person. Her diagnosis never altered her personality. She was a very strong person and was referred to as her “family’s warrior.”
Her children and family were the center of her life. She loved music, especially The Doors. Some of her other interests included all kinds of art, the beach, and the New England Patriots.
In addition to her fiancé, she leaves her loving children, Daniel P. Nash of Brockton and Kara N. Ward of Boston; her siblings, twin sister Michelle C. Dias and her husband Lawrence, of Brockton, Scott P. O’Donnell of Oregon, Christopher O’ Donnell and his wife Pilly, of California, and Joseph L. Dow, of Brockton. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Kevin Dias, Cassandra Dias, Nicholas Dias, Cameron O’Donnell, and David O’Donnell and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and MANY dear friends. She was the mother of the late Ashley M. Ward and the widow of the late Kevin D. Loftus.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to visit with Kerrelle’s family on Friday, November 19, 2021, from 9:00 to 11:00am, in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton, with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 am, in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
